Message from Principal Larkin

What a great start we've had to 2021 here at Blue Heron Elementary! We've enjoyed welcoming everybody back to in person learning and have enjoyed meeting our new remote and in person students. This past week, I've enjoyed meeting with all of our Blue Heron teachers to analyze the most recent mid year assessment data from the literacy and math assessments students completed last week. School wide, we have seen growth in both literacy and math! Even though learning conditions are far different than we're used to, all of our students continue to learn, grow and thrive here at Blue Heron. I continue to be inspired by the resilience and positivity of this special school community and look forward to a successful rest of the year!
